The veteran Australian all-rounder, David Hussey, has confirmed his participation in the Big Bash League for Melbourne Stars, based at the MCG.
Talking to a local magazine, Hussey further expressed his desire to see an exciting Twenty20 league since it will boost Australian domestic cricket.
Citing first-class cricket as the backbone of Australian international set-up, the 33-year-old all-rounder stressed upon the need for a successful Twenty20 championship.
"There is something attractive about playing at home. I want to see Australia have a successful competition and I still believe that on the domestic front our cricket is the benchmark in world cricket,” said Hussey.

play in the Champions League, where we will reap the rewards in prize money. It is a different model to where you see two or three superstars who take all the money."
