Les Croix de Savoie have started the 2012/2013 Ligue campaign on a bad note, and Jarolim has his eyes set on helping his new side get back to the winning ways.
While talking to reporters, the former Bayern Munich player stated that he is not much familiar with French football and he is still learning new things about the Ligue 1.
The Czech international added that Ligue 1 is one of the best leagues in Europe and he is glad to be here.
"I don't know all the Ligue 1 clubs but in both http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Czech-Republic-c2882 they show it on TV. Ligue 1 is one of the top leagues, the quality is there.”
Jarolim stated that he is short of match fitness and needs to play few games to get to his level best.
“I'll need to play a few games, however, before I can tell you how it differs from the Bundesliga."
Evian’s sporting director, Pascal Dupraz, has expressed his delight at the capture of the former Hamburg man.
The sporting director stated that they were keen to secure the signature of the midfielder, and Les Roses are lucky to have a player of his calibre in their ranks.
“We wanted to recruit him for his experience and the fact that he speaks French so he'll be able to adapt quickly.”
Dupraz added that Jarolim is a quality player and has tremendous amount of experience under his belt, and he will bring a lot to this club.
