After the former Juventus man’s success, it appears that Ligue 1 is ready to host another experienced player nearing the twilight of his playing career. 33-year-old David Jarolim’s contract with German Bundesliga side HSV Hamburg has expired and the Czech
is now a free agent.
Reportedly, the defensive midfielder is attracting a lot of interest from the likes of Stade Brestois, Bastia and Stade de Reims. The three Ligue 1 sides are keen on strengthening their midfield and see Jarolim as a great addition to the squad.
After playing almost 341 Bundesliga games with the likes of Bayern Munich, Nuremberg and Hamburg since 1997, plus two European cup semi-finals in 2009 and 2010, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 Jarolim comes under the category of a highly experienced player.
Furthermore, all these three Ligue 1 clubs are impressed with the natural leadership qualities of the player who captained Hamburg from 2008 to 2012. His experience and leadership could come in handy for the Corsicans, Bretons and the Champenois.
Adjusting to new surroundings would certainly not be a huge problem for Jarolim. won promotion back to Ligue 1 football.
Last summer, Evian TG signed Poulsen for their debut Ligue 1 campaign and the player’s experience played a huge part in the club’s good start to Ligue 1 football. The same could be said of Jarolim who has even more experience than the Dane.
