The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Czech-Republic-c2882 international has expressed his delight after securing a move to the Ligue 1 outfit, and is looking forward to help his new employers stay in the top division this season
The 33-year-old has ended his nine-year affiliation with Bundesliga side, Hamburg, after putting pen to paper on a contract with Les Croix de Savoie.
And the experienced midfielder is delighted with this latest move in his career.
While talking to reporters, the former Bayern Munich player stated that he wanted a new challenge in his career, and he is looking forward to make his Ligue 1 debut.
When asked about his new club, Jarolim stated that Evian TG are an ambitious club, and he is excited to be a part of this team.
Les Roses have started the 2012/2013 Ligue 1 campaign poorly, but the Czech international is not much worried by that, and believes that his new side will soon hit the top gear.
“It's a small but ambitious club. The club hasn't started the season well and that's a pity, but that's football.”
The 33-year-old added that he has played most part of his career for top teams, and the player has set his sights on helping Evian become a top class team in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899
“With Hamburg I was more used to being in the upper reaches of the table, except last season when we only guaranteed our survival in the penultimate game of the season. So I know this situation and I'm here to help.”
Jarolim believes that it would be hard for Evian TG to challenge for titles this season, but has vowed to do everything he can, in order to help Les Croix de Savoie become real title contenders in the league.
"I'm not Superman but I'll do everything I can. The most important thing is that I settle in quickly here.”
Evian’s next match is against SC Bastia on September 15, and the Czech international feels that the extended break will help him get settled at Parc des Sports.
“Fortunately the next match isn't for a couple of weeks and that gives me a bit of time."
