Men’s Doubles team David Jones-Chris Barker lived up to their billing and gave Tasmania the required boost to prove supremacy over The Territories in Ede Clendinnen Shield Sydney on August 28, 2012.
They played with great conviction and outshined the twosome of Anthony Joe-Terrance Wong after an exhausting exercise of three sets.
This epic showdown prolonged to 30-minutes before ending with final result of 21-19, 18-21 and 21-10.
The victorious duo prevailed in opening and closing segments while the opposing team could show its class only in the second set of the match.
