"The sight of Russian tanks rolling into parts of a sovereign country on its neighbouring borders will have brought a chill down the spine of many people," he told BBC radio. "That is simply not the way in which international relations can be run in the 21st century."

Now if you replace Russian in this statement with British and the sovereign country we are talking about is Iraq.........has he not just mumbled the biggest load of rubbish you have ever heard.

Just how do these politician conveniently forget what we did in Iraq ?

  1. Yes I heard him on the radio. And David Cameron was on the radio saying pretty much the same thing. I think their words are probably directed at the UK population - as a form of electioneering - because they believe they will be seen more positivley by the electorate.

But not by me - nor you it would seem. And I know there are many others who think the same (try listening to George Galloway's radio programme on Talksport on Friday and saturday evenings at 10pm) But when it comes to an election what choice do we have. ? They both seem as bad as each other.

I am still in 'semi shock' that we took part in the Iraq war. I still can't believe a Labour Prime Minister lead us into an a war that had very little to justify it  - and a mountain of reasons not to.

  2. Miliband is a cretin and an intellectual pygmy. He is also deeply sinister. He frightens me far more than Gordon Brown, who was wrong on so many issues but just possibly has some kind of (now perverted) moral core. I suspect that Miliband has no moral sensibility at all.

His father is a so-called 'Marxist intellectual'. Hey, don't Marxists believe in equality? So why do Miliband AND HIS BROTHER have such an easy ride into government?

Does that look fair to you? 'All men are equal but some are more equal than others'. Orwell's saying is only getting more and more true. But we never knew that it would apply to British politics as much as it did to Soviet politics.

Yes, his stance on Russia is hypocritical - but does he have the intellectual capability to realize that?

I am ashamed that we have such people representing us. Come on, England! We can do better than this.

  3. You are completely right.   No Sovereign State should invade another.   Mr. Miliband and his colleagues think they can fool all of the people all of the time, but probably only fool themselves.

  4. An inefficient little man with high ambitions !

  5. Did you not hear President Bush telling the Russians to stop what they were doing? He said this yesterday without blinking an eye.

I assume they were looking for WMDs?

  6. Yes,this is a typical example of political double standards, they all do and Milliband is no worse than many others. They all believe their own bulls**t.
