South Africa’s middle-order batsman, David Miller is over the moon with his showing in the third One Day International (ODI) of the on-going series in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 at Pallekele and said that he just wanted to bat till the end.
The tourists won the toss and opted to bat first on a pitch that was expected to help the seam bowlers. The decision did not appear to be a wise one at the beginning as the Proteas lost five of their top-order batsmen for merely 100 runs on the board.
The 24-year-old cricketer took the responsibility on his shoulders and played one of the finest innings of his short international career so far. Miller struck the Sri Lankan bowlers to all parts of the ground and scored 85 runs off just 72 balls in which
he smashed four boundaries and five massive hits out of the playing arena. The left-hander remained unbeaten.
Due to Miller’s outstanding innings, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 were able to post a competitive total of 223 runs on the board and won the match by 56 runs. The left-hander was named as the Player of the Match for his exceptional innings.
The stylish batsman revealed that he just wanted to bat till the end and knew that runs would come automatically.

so we thought let's really take it as deep as we can.”

"The wicket was very slow and had a lot of turn. We really had to work hard up front and try and build partnerships and take a little bit longer than normal. This innings means a lot to me," he added.
The fourth match of the series is going to be played tomorrow at the same venue.
