liked the way Moyes went about his business and managed his team. Moyes was always active in communicating with the club’s board and players. The following season Everton managed to finish seventh.
Everton might have missed the chance to play in the UEFA Cup, but he managed to win a LMA Manager of the Year title. He did the same in the 2004/05 season when Everton qualified for the UEFA Champions League. It was the best moment in his career. It was
an incredible achievement as he did not have many funds available to him for any major transfers.

The 48-year-old has not been successful in winning the club any trophies like his peers, but the argument in his favour since he has to face a much tougher opposition where the financial position of the club is a major decider on the makeup of the team.
