http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Pizarro-c10581 has admitted that he wishes to help Manchester win the Premier League title, before his loan spell with the team comes to an end.
Pizarro was signed by City on loan from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 on the deadline day of the transfer window and since then, the striker has managed to already win the fans over, by claiming that he was here to help the team win the league title.
The midfielder did not play regularly for Roma, but is quite confident that whatever contributions he does make for City, would help them push towards lifting the title at the end of the season.
The on – loan midfielder has not met up with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 as yet, but still possesses the right mindset to link up with the first team right away.
When talking about his move to Manchester City, Pizarro is quoted to have said: "I'm fit and ready to play at the weekend. I arrived with City at the top of the league and let's hope we finish there"
"I haven't spoken to Roberto yet but I'm sure we will sit down soon and discuss what my role will be at the club and what he wants me to do.”
The midfielder then ended on a high, as he claimed that he was here to make history and the only way to do that, was by winning the Premier League title.
"It's great when a manager has confidence in you to bring you to a club, and wants you in the title run-in. I will try to help make history with this club and win the league title."
City’s decision to go on and sign Pizarro, if anything was a little weird to say the least. The team already has a very abundant midfield and with Yaya Toure set to return in the future, it is a wonder if Pizarro would even get to play for the team.
However, should he be asked to represent the team, he is more than likely to give it his all. At the same time, his ability to hold back and create play would allow the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360 more freedom upfront, which in turn would make City
even more dangerous.
