David Silva doesn’t want Manchester City to drop points
Manchester City midfielder and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Silva-c10601 has come forth and agreed with the fact that City can’t afford to drop any more points in the Premier League, if they are to go on and win the competition.
City are now set to take on Stoke City in the Premier League on Wednesday night and given their win over Arsenal, the team is going to head into the game on an all time high.
Prior to City’s game with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429, the team went on to drop to the second spot, as Manchester United went on to beat QPR and took a one point lead over their opponents.
Nonetheless, City are now back on top and have a two point lead keeping them ahead of their local rivals.
Silva, who is now more than aware of the pressure that United have started to put on City’s shoulders is quoted to have said:  “We are aware that Manchester United are going to be pushing us all the way but we have to focus on ourselves.
“We have to keep on the road we have been on up to now, keep our own affairs in order and the rest will look after itself.
“At the moment it is United just behind us but others will be gathering towards the end of the season. To keep the gap as it is we have to keep winning our games.”
Despite all the pressure that United seem to be imposing on City, the team is more than likely to go on and push the Red Devils, as they claim the Premier League.
City have been impeccable so far this season and apart from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786, no one has managed to beat them in the league.
The Blue side of Manchester went on to destroy the Red Devils, as they beat them by six goals to one.
The team has made short work of all their lesser opponents and that is why it seems like City could easily win the Premier League crown at the end of the season.
Nonetheless, it is now going to be an interesting wait to see whether the team slips up or not and if they go on and win the Premier League at the end of the season.
