David Vaughan warns Blackpool
Blackpool star midfielder David Vaughan has warned the side to give him a lucrative offer or risk losing him in this Winter’s transfer window.
The midfielder has made a good impact on the Seasiders’ in their promotional season of the premier league and has claimed that Blackpool would have to offer the right amount to retain him at Bloomfield road.
The player’s current contract is expected to expire by the end of the current season and Blackpool may risk losing him on a free transfer. The midfielder has become a hot property owing to his performances for Blackpool and number of clubs would want his
signature on a permanent contract.
The midfielder however has expressed his desire to extend his stay at Blackpool, but was disappointed that the management is still quiet about extending his contract.
"I have told the club what I am after and it is up to them what they want to do. I am waiting to hear back off them so we'll see what happens. Am I hopeful? I don't know. Everyone knows what Blackpool are like, so I really don't know what is going to happen
at the moment,” claimed the 27 year old midfielder.
The Welsh added that he is really happy with the club and enjoys playing for Blackpool. Also, the player’s family is happily settled at Blackpool and would be happy to stay there.
Yet he was disgruntled to see the club taking no actions to offer him a new contract and left it on the management to do things the way they want to.
"I could speak to different clubs in January with a view to the summer, but I've heard nothing, the club has heard nothing, and the future will sort itself out really. I am happy to stay if it can be sorted. The deal has to be right for me and, obviously,
also for the club," claimed Vaughan.
Blackpool host Liverpool at Bloomfield road this weekend and they would want to pull one more over Roy Hodgson’s men. The side managed a memorable 2-1 victory over the 18 time English Champions earlier in the season and would want to emulate a similar performance
to record their first double over http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 in the history of the league.
