David Warner thankful to Greg Chappell for guidance – Cricket News Update

Warner performed outstandingly in the Champions League Twenty20 and came up as the highest-run getter in the tournament – amassing 328 runs including a couple of tons in just five games.
By lashing back-to-back centuries in the CL T20, Warner became the first player ever to hit two consecutive hundreds in the shortest version of the game.

The 24-year-old batsman has definitely cemented his place in the Australian limited-over squad but does not want to rest on his laurels.
He shared that his next big challenge is to earn a spot in the national Test side, insisting that he does not want to be called as just a T20 specialist.
"I started my career with T20 and it has helped me develop as a player. However, my goal is to make my Test debut next year. T20 is a great forum to score runs and a stepping stone to ODIs and Tests. It's important that a player is not hemmed in by one particular
format," added the NSW batsman who holds a splendid strike rate of 144.32 in T20 internationals.
