After defeating enzo maccarinelli David Haye called out Wladmimir and peters and said that he is confident that he is going to clear the division, I am a huge David Haye fan and I would like to see how he will do at the heavy weight level, here is the link where he calls them out

  1. I don't know....styles make fights. Haye is a boxer-puncher, smart, heavy-handed and somewhat technical......a lot like Klitschko. I think he could give Klitschko a run for his money and provide a d**n good fight IF and only IF he can put on an extra 20-25lbs and the extra weight not negatively affect his conditioning. I would say that the advantages that Haye would have in a match with Klitschko are he is more athletic  and seems to have much better hand speed. Klitschko is very stiff, fights side to side or forward at all times. Haye will be able to utilize angles and from that, exploit the difference in hand speed. It would be a great fight. I am confident in saying that if Haye hit Klitschko, he would hurt him and may knock him out. Of course, Klitschko is a solid defensive fighter, Haye can make it happen...if he can hit him.

I am inclined to say as long as Peter did not land one of those looping overhand rights, Haye could pose a lot of problems for him. Peter is unquestionably the strongest heavyweight out there, but he is not a terribly skilled fighter. He has gotten better, but his strength can still easily be negated by moving around the ring and to the right. As strong as Peter is, he is not going to hurt you with a jab and frankly does not jab enough for it to be a threat to begin with. I think (again) if Haye can put on some weight and it not effect his conditioning, he could probably beat Peter convincingly.

Difference between Klitschko and Peter is that Peter has a h**l of a chin. Haye would have to keep punishing Peter to knock him out, whereas I think Klitschko could be knocked out with anywhere from one to three solid punches in close succession.

Haye could beat either of them. If he can put on the weight, stay in fighting condition and stay hungry, he can definitely win. He is the most exciting heavyweight I have seen since Lewis and a very young Jameel McCline (what a waste). He has what it takes skill-wise, I just don't know if he has the size at this point. I would be looking forward to seeing either fight.

  2. he wouldnt stand a chance against wlad. wheres all his confidence coming from he fought once at heavyweight against a bum.

  3. I am British and should be a massive fan of Hayes but for some reason im not, i really wish he would keep a bit more quiet and be a little bit more humble. I really think that he is going to get knocked out very early in his heavyweight career because of his over confidence. Wlad would take him to school.

  4. Without question, props go to David Haye for his recent destruction of Enzo!  I was very impressed as this was my first time observing his talent..A fight between him and Vlad or Peters, would  be a sell-out crowd but realistically, he's too inexperienced and makes a lot of mistakes as in dropping his hands when he loads- up..His youth and tenancity will keep him in the publics eye for a while for sure, but once he gets tested with a fighter of another caliber or even style, he'll come back down to earth.. Still growing but he is rather small to campaign at heavy-weight.. Much respect to him nonetheless.. Boxing needs aggressive, unknown and unlimited talent like David..More power to the "Haye-maker"...

  5. David Haye will end up biting off more than he can chew, if he goes after Klitschko too soon. No doubt, I would like to see them go at each other, because someone is going to hit the canvas.

    **additional**

I will give Haye props for at least calling out arguably the best in the division. Most fighters will simply tell you they'll see what the promoters can find.

  6. Good luck to him, I saw that fight and remember him calling everyone out in the heavy weights.

honestly i dont think that he will dominate the heavy weight division i mean he is a big guy

6'3 and fought last at 197 but i believe his speed will go down

as he trys to add weight and his power

wont match up with the bigger guys up there. He will be ko.

Really i just think he should keep his mouth shut about the heavy weights, if he wants to prove something  he

    should show us.

  7. Hayes biggest asset at heavyweight isent his power its his speed, and he has a big speed advantage against any current heavyweight. I think he has a good chance of winning a world title once he has grow into the division a bit more, but Klitscho could be a bad fight for him. Hes got a big size advantage over Haye and has underated skills, and has come on alot in the last few years and certainly isent the same fighter that lost to Corrie Saunders a few years back. Haye has the power to knock Klitscho out but im not sure if he can get to him to do it. It would be a good fight though lets hope it happens in the near future.

  8. I dont mind his confidence because if a fighter is not confident they should retire on the spot. Its not a sport where you can walk around without full confidence in all of your abilities.

But Wlad will kill him. Haye is not known for an amazing chin and few fighters are successful moving up to the heavyweight division. I like watching Haye and i think theres some heavys he might be able to beat but Wlads jab will give him h**l. And once Wlad starts to lay on him and throw his weight around on Haye, Haye is gonna feel the difference in weight really quick and that will tire him out faster then i think he realizes.

Haye needs to fight a heavyweight who doesnt move to well, and who doesnt have so much d**n size and power. He needs to warmup to this class before going after a champ.

  9. I never cared for that arrogance from fighters.  Somehow Ali was fun when he did it but nobody else really is.  I think that he win get knocked out when if ever he steps in the ring against Klitschko especially if he really forces the issue.
