The Cagliari defender has stated that while he is grateful to the Russian outfit for the interest, he wants to remain in Italy to give more meaning to his career.

The Isolani player received interest from the Russian outfit, and also flew to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 to complete the medical tests.
However, the centre-back has now had a change of heart, and has publicly stated his decision to snub the interest from Moscow.
Astori expressed his gratefulness to Spartak for the lucrative offer, but maintained that he has decided that he wants to stay in Serie A for now.
The Cagliari player was adamant that a move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Russia-c2991 will be nothing less than an exile for him, and insisted that he will stay in a more competitive league in order to give more resonance to his career as a footballer.
In a statement released on his club’s website, the 25-year-old said:
“I thank Spartak Moscow for their interest and the investment they were ready to make, but I’m staying in Italy and at Cagliari because I want to give a meaning to my career.”

However, the centre-back maintained that he wants to continue playing in Italy’s top flight, and stressed that an exit at the moment would have felt like unfinished business.
The Rossoblu defender stated that he believes in Cagliari’s push to become a better club, and insisted that he wishes to become a faithful of the outfit.
“My injury problems last season and me just missing out of Euro 2012 may have suggested that I was looking for a change, but that is not the case. There would have been a taste of unfinished business had I gone away now. I believe in this club, the new stadium
project and the ambitions to compete in the League.” He added.
