Davis Love III and fans still have faith in the tiger of golf, it is about time Tiger Woods!
Davis Love III has blessed Tiger Woods with his official inclusion for the Ryder Cup. Love is the only man who still has faith in Woods re-claiming his throne of glory in the world of golf.
Love is the captain of the Ryder Cup and eyes Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Steve Stricker as potential winners at the Ryder Cup.
Love himself is an accomplished golfer and is a 20 times PGA Tour winner. His approach towards Woods has been a little gentle.
“For Tiger, it was good to win at Bay Hill, he's not driving it his best, but he proved to himself that he can still close it out and make the putts he needs to on a Sunday. I think that was important for his head,” said Love.
Woods has been a target of continued criticism and seems pretty exhausted because of it. The criticism is justified when his stats and poor form is kept under the microscope.
The world remembers Woods as the ultimate showdown of golf. He was an event in itself. He never came back in his true form after 2004. It has been long and tiring to see the world’s most favourite golfer bring out the best in the precision game once again.
Love has been extremely kind to the former World number one, as he still believes Woods may have what it takes to come back in business.
“It's good for the fans, it's good for the game and it's great in a Ryder Cup year. People ask me, 'Will he make the team?' Come on. It's obvious he's going to play his way on the team. I'm not worried about that. He's not all the way there yet — we saw
that at the Masters — but he's close,” said Love talking highly on Woods.
For now, Woods has the right amount of support he requires to pull it off once again and prove his critics wrong.
His fans have suffered tremendously due to his poor form and it has become an obligation for Tiger to roar glory once again and claim his territory.
Love has given his support, the fans are waiting for a miracle and Woods better bring it on this time.
