  1. Reptile babies usually snake, small lizards ect live off their yolk sack for about the first week or so. So they don't need food and you should only really start feeding when he has shed. If after a week or so he hasn't shed or started eating take him to your local reptile store and ask about him.

  2. usually if it just hatched a day or so ago. then he isn't going to eat untill AFTER he sheds. don't worry just keep offering he will eat when he feels necessary.

  3. It is not uncommon for new hatchlings to refuse food for a few days.  Just give him time and continue to offer food on a daily basis.  You may want to try offering small meal worms or wingless fruitflies to a new hatchling as well, as maybe the crickets just aren't that appealing to this gecko (it happens!  geckos can be very picky when it comes to food)

If this persists for a total of 5 to 6 days, then I would recommend that you try feeding it a slurry mix.  This is a recipe designed by a large breeder to supply the gecko with the proper nutrients it needs.  It will often jumpstart their appetite as well.
