Day One at the Police Central Recruitment Centre any tips? (Answers from England Please)?

Well...as above. I would especially like tips on the written as its what I'm most worried about and would just like to hear other peoples experience.

Do they still ask you the questions from you application form?

  1. The main thing to remember with the written tests is that you get the same mark for answering a hard question as for an easy one.

    So for eg if their is a maths question 47685 x 76758 then id leave it and go on to an easier one, if you have time at the end then give it a go.

    Its all about seeing if you can think.

    The same goes for the grammar ones.

    I had to watch a video and then answer questions on it, so at home watch a 2 minute clip and get a friend to ask you q's on it.

    At the interview I didn't get asked any Q's on my application form, it was mostly local and national police related q's.

    One that would come up at the mo would be knife crime.
