Day Trip to Bush Gardenss/and Kings Dominion

Busch Gardens is fairly close to VA Beach and there are plenty of places advertising day trips to it. As someone who has a daughter that works at Kings Dominion I wouldn't waste the time or money. Yes, there is gang activity there and with it's close location to Richmond it has picked up significantly in the last few years. However I would recommend the Norfolk Zoo and the Aquarium right there near the beach. VA Beach has plenty of tourist attractions without you having to risk being in the middle of a gang fight while waiting on a ride at KD. Bush Gardens is much safer if you really want to go to a theme park and the human element is much more desirable. Water COuntry USA is also next door to Busch Gardens and you can get a park hopper pass that allows you entry into both parks.
