29.29 and 29.85 seconds, respectively.
Moments later, Suzaan Van Biljon expounded her talented swimming in the Women’s 100m breast-stroke semi-final to occupy the fastest qualification spot in the finals with a timing of 1:10.27 minutes. She was followed by KZNA-KZ’s Ronwyn Roper and NTS-NT’s

The last event of the session was the Women’s 800m freestyle final, where the WPA-WP’s Wendy Trott earned the gold medal in an unmatchable FINA qualified timing. She touched the wall in 8:30.66 minutes and confirmed her berth for the World Championships.
She was followed by KZNA-KZ’s Roxanne Tammadge, who tried to engage her in a close combat but failed to sustain her speed after the fourth lap and posted a time of 8:44.89 minutes. Jessica Pengelly managed her podium finish for the bronze medal by completing
her swim in 8:46.16 minutes.
The championship will continue for two more days, as South Africa Swimming will announce the national team after the conclusion of the event.
