  1. Bullring is open 11am-5pm in birmingham. The centre is mostly open and its great because 90% of the time its nice and dead quiet. If your going to shop - do it on a Sunday.

  2. well i live there and ive never really seen many public boats on the canal

But I'm sure there are a few

I think there's even one with a restaurant on the boat

Yet i haven't really been there in a while

Cadbury world is a good choice Better than the sealife world (or wateva its called)Becuase there is more at  cabury world plus you got alot of free samples and there is a ride and tons of other cool stuff After a while the sealife centre just gets boring

Im 12 and even i still enjoiy it! You can acsees it through quite a few bus routes icluding the 11 which go's to quite a few places round the city(it is pretty big) the child fare there is around 75p for children and adults £1.50

There are alot of restuarnats around the canal one includes "the brasshouse" which is supposed to be a "celebrity restuanrant".

    Hope i helped lol

    Laterz!

  4. Yes, you can take a short boat trip along the canals, but there is also the Thinktank, The Sealife Centre, The Natural History Museum, ...a little further out of town you have Cadbury World too...and there are loads of places to eat in Brindley Place.....You should have plenty to do !!!!

  5. go to cadburys chocolate factory!  cadburyworld

  6. Broad street has the canal system tucked away behind it. Plenty of pubs (some kid friendly) and the usual chain restaurants. I think there is an aquarium off broad street too. Or..How about a trip out to Cadbury World in Bourneville? Perfect for the youngsters!

  7. My 5 yr old nephew loves to go to the thinktank, its quite a good place and has an imax but check on whats playing before you decide to go in as i assume some of the films , natural history ones could be scary for a child.

There are canal trips as mentioned and caburys world is next on our list.

I have taken him to the Sealife Centre too, which he enjoyed.

However the highlight for him for any trip into Brum is always Big Wok, buffet style chinese restaurant with a help yourself ice cream machine!!

  8. Have a look at Enjoy England's day trip finder you should find plenty to do. All ideas are within 3 miles of Birmingham.

    Have a great day!

  9. Cadbury World is good don't get me wrong, but it's bit of a treck outta the city, the sealife centre is good though: http://www.sealifeeurope.com/local/index... only trouble is, i think it is more expensive on Sundays - you can book online and save money :)

  10. She would love the Sea life Centre - its fascinating!

  11. As others have said you could go to Cadburys World in Bourneville to the south of the city centre. This is a factory tour with lots of fun things for kids and free chocolate as you go round. You may need to book though - try their website.

Canal system runs through Brum. Try Broad Street/ Brindley Place. There are canal trips and the sealife centre is close by too. Also lots of decent restaurants and bars close by.

The new Bull Ring is a modern snazzy shopping centre with most chains represented. Mailbox near Broad Street is more upmarket with designer stores.

Try Birmingham website for more info.

    Enjoy.

  12. Sunday can be a bit of an **** in brum as many of the bars and restaurants are shut - however they may be starting open up more now the weather is here...

we joke about how brum closes on a sunday...

You should head for an area called brindley place for the canals - then you could hed 5 minutes up the road to the art gallery - which is excellent for adults and kids alike. and FREE!!!
