  1. You may check http://www.100kFX.com - this Saudi trading team makes these figures by using a solid scalping method with no overnight open trades. It can be done with discipline and experience.

  2. It is the real deal...I know a girl who's boyfriend does it for a living. Also, the guy who went to prison for robbing banks was doing day trading failing at first (robbing to pay for trades) until he figured out how to do it right (day trading without robbing while on the run) until he got captured. It is documented that it works but you do need to know what your doing. It can be a gamble. I would suggest learning how to market stock trading tools. Just like in the gold rush era, sell the tools to the miners and get rich. While most of the miners never found gold.

  3. Some people do make money day trading, but every respectable study on day trading that I have seen has shown that far more people lose money day trading.

Here are some brief comments by the SEC on day trading:

They also have a much longer study on day trading at

  4. Yes day traders & swing traders make money. On average it takes 3 years to be truly profitable.  Don't follow any of the rip of links here!

  5. Day trading is very much a reality.  And I have lived in that world for over 40 years.

Professional traders do make money trading, and most experienced traders also make money.  But only those amateurs who go into the market totally prepared make money, the rest loose.

  6. Day trading can be successful as long as you have discipline and a game plan. I've traded commodities and futures for 27 years, and what I do is one transaction a day on the Dow Jones Futures Contract. For me, it's easier to pick the daily direction just for the day. h**l, just turn on CNBC or Bloomberg and they'll tell you which way it's going.

I risk $400 a day per $6000 and I close out before the end of the day. Monday gained 220 points, which is equal to $2200. These days are not uncommon, and I run about 80% accurate.  As a broker I need to disclose that you can lose all or more of your money if you listen to me. <my disclosure>
