Day trips from England to Paris via Eurostar train. Worth it or not?

My friend and I are travelling to England next spring (where she lived for a few years) and we are interested in taking a day trip to Paris during our stay in Europe. The Eurostar fares seem quite reasonable but I just wanted to know some other traveller's thoughts on day trips. Good idea or bad idea?

it would be if you got the first train out.and a late one back.and try not to pack to much in.when your in paris.i have done it and had a good

time.

Definitely worth it if you get an eary train there and late one back. If this is the only way you are going to see Paris, then go. of course I would recemmend staying a night but that might be not within your budget so I'd go for a day anyway. The train takes you right to the centre of the city.
