Day/weekend trip for the oregon/northern california coastal areas?

Question

I want to take my boyfriend on a fun little weekend trip, I dont really know where we are going to go, or what we want to do. But, any "romantic" places would be good. Anywhere really...

Any suggestions?

If you are coming up the coastal route, from N. California, you'll go through the redwoods, which is lovely. This is a really fun park to visit..the sky tram is stunning.

Up into Oregon, there is so much to do. I live on the S. OR Coast, and I never get tired of it. There is beachcombing, bed and breakfasts to stay in..just so much. This link is to Brookings, which is just right over the CA border. there are also many lighthouses to explore. You can't get much more romantic than that. Have fun!

If you are just in Coos Bay, go down to the redwoods..it's  not too far and is SO pretty and SO worth it. You'll have a blast!

Florence Oregon is beautiful

Newport Oregon has a ton of fun things the ocean for one but they also have ripleys believe it or not and a underwater aquarium! Oh and a wax museum.

Califoina coast is beautiful as well maybe check out the Redwood Forest. Have fun!!!!

On the Oregon coast you can go crabbing as well! We lived 2hrs from the coast for awhile!
