Hello,

Any recommendations for great daycare in Colorado - I am considering the Goddard Daycare. Any input would be appreciated.

  1. Having worked in numerous daycare programs, public and private, I have developed a dim view of chain daycares. I find them to be too antiseptic and rigid. It seems you've settled on the Goddard School already. I'd encourage you to look elsewhere. There are excellent programs associated with Arapahoe Community College, Englewood Schools, Catholic Charities, and CU-Denver, among others. You didn't indicate the age of your child/children. That information would be helpful to me. I worked in Englewood's childcare program located near the high school. It's outstanding; the teachers are terrific. It's a multi-age program for children 3-5. Catholic Charities has some excellent programs, too. I've heard wonderful things about the childcare at ACC and CU-Denver. Again, I wish I knew where in Colorado or the Denver Metro Area you live. I might have been more helpful. Good luck to you.
