  1. creativeteaching.com has REALLY cute posters and decorations.

  2. at my school my class (the pre-k 4-5 year olds)  are called the leaping leopards so we have a cartoon leaping leopard painted, we had them done by a professional but you can always print a picture out on an transparencey and put it on an overhead and trace it onto the wall...

but another good idea would be to have pictures of every child washing their hands above the sink, or incorporate the students into it theyll lvoe it

  3. :-)  My first thought is...nother permanent.  Often I have seen centers that have awesome murals and characters painted on the walls...but then there is no room for change or children's work...and that is a lot more important.   I also find that as "cute" as the paintings are...they are usually done way above the children's eye level so there is little or no interaction with it.

Children's artwork is a great idea.  One thing I find a great help is putting up posters/work that relates to basic concepts...the children will talk about them if they are changed about every 2 weeks...a great oral language development activity.  Vocab posters to go with theme are by far the best thing to put in a bathroom, in my opinion.  Alphabet-numbers-shapes-colors-etc...pos... remember to change them.  It's neat to put alphabet collage boards in the art center and as they are completed put them up in the bathroom.  Same for numbers-shapes, etc.

Sometimes when putting up artwork there is a concern that the children will touch it with dirty or wet hands.  You can purchase those plexi glass "displays" often found in infant/toddler rooms to protect the artwork and etc.  Most likely you could probably makes something that works just as well.

    Good luck!

  4. Survey your parents to see if you have any artists who could do a mural for you.

  5. I always put children's art up in my bathroom. It's a great place to display their work where they can see it, and then you have ever-changing decor :o)

But make sure to put it high enough--if your four year olds are anything like mine, the bathroom is often a splash zone!!!

  6. Use your imagination and go with it. Maybe the children could even help. Are you allowed to do some sponge shape painting on the walls?

  7. With a bathroom comes a lot of water, I would add an color scheme that made it look as if you were underwater. Add some colorful fish to the walls. Paint the ceiling to match the walls and use things like a heavy rope net  to drape along anything. Possibly, decorate around the toilet like it was a treasure chest - make sure what you use is machine washable due to the little guys aim(if you know what I mean).

    Hope this helps

    God bless and good luck!!!

  8. Well, Ive worker in a lot of day care center. So I know what you mean by it gets old after while. I don't know if you ever heard of this rub on transfer called tatouage. Its a dry rub transfer that goes on flat so you can paint over it later if you want. i did it in my kitchen . The have different themes. i thin maybe like under the sea would be cute in a bathroom or a beach scene r somthing like that. If you choose to do the tatouage, the kis can help you to. All you do is rubb toungue depressors or popsicle sticks over it. If you dont like that idea try taking a vote with te kids. Narrow it down to two or three choices then take a vote. They like to know they are a part of things. Plus might help them wanna keep the bathroom clean lol Hope this helped
