Daycare license help??

Question

I have already attended the orientations and filled out all paper work and did my training. It has been 2 weeks since sending in my training certificates but haven't heard back from anyone. Could anyone tell me what I should do as I want to open ASAP and if it took this long for you

I sent in my license application in may and I was inspected in June and I had my license in by mid July. If you've already been inspected I would contact your child care license person and see what the hold up is. If you have not been inspected yet then I would call the child care licensing office and make sure that your paperwork has been filed and how long the wait is as you need to open ASAP. I live in Maine so things may be different in Md, Good luck!
