This just in from Soup : http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2008/Mar/080311z.htm

This whole article is why I read Soup's site.

I quote : " For whatever reasons, Hayes was first made aware that he had been disqualified by reading it on Soup. " This just proves the tag line : " Where riders learn they have been sacked " !!

Is this reallt just a smoke screen regarding Honda trying to get there win back from Kawasaki ? Big Red have a lot of power in the AMA, it will be almost a miricle if the Attack Kwacker Team get the win ....... even more so as it will give the win the a fellow Brit Chaz Davis.

Your thoughts ?

  1. If you are working to the rule book, he has got to stay disqualified

It will be interesting to see which way it swings, I'd go along with proc and say the Brit wont be favoured over the yank, and I'm not sure chaz would want to win that way, saying that he wouldn't so know to the title.

Shame about Neil Hodgson he was on for a podium, but had to pull out with a blown clutch.

  2. Hi Wiggysan. I see they are trying to place the question is it hayes's fault.... probably not.

But is it erion's fault.            Could be.!!!

the fact the crank passed last time does not mean it wasnt at fault    New guy, new job..... might be on the ball.    But to disqualify an american, in favour of a Brit, in one of Americas biggest races  ????????????   As it says

    Time will tell.
