Dazzle*DVD Recorder - any success stories ?

Question

I bought one of these because it seemed like a good idea, however, after 4 sets of scart/avi leads, 1 s]S video lead, 3 VCRs and multiple installs I'm taking it back to the shop tomorrow.

What I want to know is if anyone has had any success with this hardware/software device - is it worth exchanging it for another one or should I opt for something else to transfer my home vids to DVD ?

If you can exchange it then do so . leads do work if your video card has a s video slot and audio input throught the sound card check the card  ,  and buy a software , least expensive software with good report is Roxio   . I gave up on dazzle I could get the video in but converting it was a problem . video - dvd recorders are good . it's a catch 22 i think you can't set it up because windows movie maker grabs the drivers and if you can get video in you can't convert to watch on most  . dvds . the box gives the image the practicalities take it away . don't waste any more time take it back . if your dvd has a s video and YWR sockets as an output ,they can go into the video card input and audio card on your P.C. .

take it back and exchange it for something else i took it back and got a refund as i could not get it to work on my pc
