Dazzling Rita to take over the track today at Hereford in the Herefordshire Cricket Ltd. Novices´ Handicap Hurdle
There is frenzy among horse-racing enthusiasts, anxiously awaiting the Herefordshire Cricket Ltd. Novices´ Handicap Hurdle, which will take place at Hereford on the 4th of
April.
For a purse of £1,689, eleven runners will be competing over a distance of 2 miles and 1 furlong, on a surface labelled good.
Dazzling Rita, trained by Nigel Twiston- Davies for owners, The Atkin Partnership, recently landed a runner-up finish in the Ian And June Maiden Hurdle at Stratford, on 28th July, 2011.
Mounted by David England, she finished second by an enormous difference of 19 lengths to winner, Taroum. She was trained by Shaun Lycett till 29th March, 2012 and will be racing in her debut for Twiston-Davies.
The six-year-old mare started her racing career on 26th March, 2011.

She entered the Coventry Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race as the evening’s favourite, but there again she was defeated by a head to the winner, Penelope Pips.
The daughter of Midnight Legend, out of mare Pytchley Dawn, is an exciting prospect who is aiming to bring her best to the track. This will be her seasonal debut, and she will be paired with jockey David England once again.
Mutanaker looks like he could be a hindrance in Dazzling Rita’s way to victory in today’s race.

The five-year-old bay gelding finished fourth in his seasonal debut. Mounted by John Fahy, he did his best but was defeated, and as a result missed a finish on the money by 2 lengths to, Vehement, in the Lingfieldpark.co.uk Maiden Stakes at Lingfield
on 13th January, 2012.
Trained by Ed de Giles for owner D.J. Greenall, the son of Cape Cross, out of mare Purple Haze, lost a bit of his momentum in the Best Odds Guaranteed At BetVictor.com Handicap Hurdle at Hereford on 25th January, 2012 as he
finished fifth.
Today, he will be riding under jockey, Felix De Giles, whose aim is to guide the runner to victory.
Chasing Aces, the six-year-old chestnut gelding may be able to benefit from the good surface today.

The son of Definite Article, out of Daprika, finished sixth in his most recent start. Trained by Gary Brown, he raced with vigour, but fell 17 large lengths short of victory, which was acquired by, Spinning Waters, in the Triflex Handicap Hurdle at
Chepstow on 22nd March, 2012.
Today Dazzling Rita may emerge as the victor, and her victory may be followed closely by Mutanaker or Chasing Aces.
