Db cooper?

There was an article in yahoo news that they think they found the parachute of dp cooper. Was it really? I'm really interested in the topic! Please answer!

No, it turned out to be made of silk and was of World War Two vintage. None of the four parachutes he had were made of silk. DB Cooper  is wrong too, he used the name Dan Cooper, DB Cooper was an early media error and the name has stuck in the popular imagination.

They do however think they have his DNA from the tie he left behind, and as DNA databases grow there is a good chance they will eventually be able to identify who his living relatives are and track him down that way. (A criminal in the UK was recently caught in this fashion)

Fascinating case though, I agree. He most likley didn't survive the jump though, and maybe someday his bones will be found somehwere in the woods.
