  1. i was a member of the N.Z army at the time and we were tasked to protect some of the in town camps their was no trouble were we were but their was quite a bit around the country

    i would say it divided the country .the rugby fans didn't care about the politics and the non rugby fans hated the south African system

    i think it made kiwis more aware of the rest of the world
