The attacker has claimed that he does not wish to be a fringe player for the English outfit. He joined the Bundesliga side to get first-team football and is likely to return to the Blues at the end of this term. Nevertheless, the
player has said that he is not supposed to rejoin Chelsea at all costs.
He claimed that he wishes to play in the German League instead of warming the bench at Stamford Bridge. He admitted that the plan when agreeing the loan spell was to go back to the Premier League club after a year, but he added
that the scenario can change very quickly in things like these.
"According to plan, I will return to Chelsea in the summer. But in football a lot of things change - very fast,” the former Gent and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Racing-c40298 Genk youth academy player added.

"That's like in the standings: One week you're in 12th place, then sixth place, then down again,” the 2011 Belgian Pro League winner was quoted as saying in an interview.
“You have to cope with new situations quickly. If Chelsea doesn't want me in the summer, you have to think about other options,” the 2011 Belgian Supercup champion finally concluded.
De Bruyne compared the footballing side to the league standings. He suggested that the rankings can change very fast as one week you are in 12th position, then you move up to sixth and then you go down again. He conceded
that you should be able to adjust within new surroundings as he will have to think about his long-term future.
