Despite losing 3-1 against Ajax Amsterdam, the 42-year-old insists that his side played good football and is hopeful that they could bring the same against Heracles in their upcoming Eredivisie fixture.
Ajax Amsterdam cruised to a comfortable 3-1 victory over De Graafschap at Amsterdam Arena on Sunday, April 15. The Super Farmers boss, Richard Roelofsen, has revealed that they expected a tough evening in Amsterdam.

Roelofsen admitted after the game that his side expected a stern test, but also heaped praise on his side’s efforts for putting up a good show.
“We expected a tough afternoon. After conceding a goal inside three minutes of play, we played better and created couple of decent chances. I think we played our best game until Ajax scored the second goal. It was a good experience for everyone.
“All in all, we are taking back some positives for this match back to Doetinchem. Hopefully, we manage to bring this game in our next match against Heracles”, Roelofsen was quoted as saying to Voetbal International.
