The Dutch striker is aiming for an impressive UEFA Champions League campaign for new club Borussia Monchengladbach next season and is hopeful of scoring goals.

Luuk de Jong, who recently joined the club from Dutch side http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Twente-c39233 for a reported fee of 15 million Euros, claimed that the prospect of playing in the UEFA Champions League was a huge factor in his move to the Borussia Park.
The striker is keen to guide his side to the Champions League group stage next season as the team prepares to play the play-off stage. He is confident that the side will perform impressively in Europe’s premier club competition
and is looking forward to the occasion.
“The prospect of eventually playing in the Champions League with Borussia was undoubtedly one of the reasons I decided to come here. First of all, though, we have to make sure we qualify for the group stages,” he was quoted as
saying in an interview.
