Anyone who has fought Floyd, Cotto has TKO'ed. So, in short, Cotto would destroy DLH right now. I'm not talking about DLH at his prime, but right now not a chance. His jab and double left hooks are deadly on anyone's body and face.

If you get a chance you should really take a look at before and after shots of all fighters who have ever fought Cotto. Their right side of the face always looks mauled after the punishment.

in my opinion miguel cotto would beat oscar dela hoya in 12 round unanimous decision because cotto is in his prime and he defeated someone who oscar couldnt beat twice and that was sugar shane mosely and because once miguel cotto gets focused and motivated trust me no one in the 147lb divison could ever defeat him  that includes the p4p coward known as mayweather just watch cotto's fights with malinaggi,zab judahand most recently gomez look how motivated and focused he was.

cotto has to beat Margarito first, i honestly think people are over looking Margarito...Margarito and cotto are not fighting till next year, so how long is delahoya willing to wait...and will it be too late for him to fight a good match...either way, if they fought tomorrow i think cotto could take him....

Right Now, I will give the fight to Miguel Cotto, but I believe De La Hoya can give Cotto a tough time,  and I wouldn't be surprised if he beats the younger Cotto.  I hope this fight happens. Two guys that love going toe to toe.

In their prime, De La Hoya will be too much for Cotto. Oscar's speed will beat Cotto easily.
