De La Hoya vs Mosley !!?

i just finished watching the fight De La Hoya vs Mosey II and I really felt that De La Hoya should have won. He had an OVERWHELMING statistical advantage, and they still awarded the fight to Mosley who was on the juice when he fought De La Hoya the second time. I thought De La Hoya schooled Mosley.

Does anybody else think that De La Hoya won this fight??

How did you score it?

  1. I scored it as oscar winning all the way... mosely didnt have an answer for oscar's jab... and yet he still came with the victory.. another win gets away from oscar..

  2. It is another one of those decisions that you cannot understand Boxing is a great sport but sadly it throws up the odd injustice occasionally in my view.

  3. Yeah, I thought that 116-112 in favor of Oscar was the right score for their rematch, at the closest, it should have been 115-113.  Their first fight was a fair decision and even Oscar has stated that he felt like a beaten fighter afterwards (unlike the Trinidad fight).  With the second Mosley fight, Oscar looked good and he outlanded Mosley by close to 100 punches, and Mosley's dad/trainer even told him that he needed a knockout to win.  In my mind it was a close, but clear victory for Oscar, but as we all know, the judges awarded Mosley a unanimous decision that many (including me) felt he didn't deserve.

  4. i agree
