The Italian spoke on various topics which included the joy he felt while playing along with this current crop of Italian players and a glowing tribute to Pirlo.
Die Mannschaft boss, Joachim Low, has come on record to state that the Germans do not fear the Italians and would stick to their style of football and not alter it to take into account the Italian threat. However, he did go on
to state that they need to create life difficult for their talismanic midfielder, Andrea Pirlo, so that he is not able to exert the same influence on matches as he usually does.
Joachim Low went on to state they would seek to ‘disarm’ Pirlo, De Rossi retorted by stating that they would do their best for this not to happen. He also remarked that when a team had a player of Pirlo’s quality it was easy for
them to be intimidated by them. He continued:
“We will try to ensure they don’t ‘disarm’ Pirlo, but there are other players in the side who can hurt http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904. Pirlo has been the most consistently impressive.”
The midfielder was thoroughly pleased by the way the current Italian team played, and with his manager by his side during the press conference, he went on to state:
“I enjoy playing for this http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 side, as we play good football, are organised and have some great talent, so you can’t not have fun.”
When quizzed over concentration levels dropping in matches, and especially against relative minnows, the midfielder was adamant that everyone will be fully motivated and the levels of concentrations would be sky high for the match
against the Germans.
The midfield general was asked about his brawl with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mario-Balotelli-c23937, to which the midfielder seemed to get annoyed and suggested that there was unnecessary talk in the press about him. He went on to state that tempers flare during
matches as there is a lot of passion involved in the game, and remarked:
“Maybe we raise the tone a bit during a match situation due to the adrenaline, the noise of the crowd and the distance between us, but these exchanges often happen.”
Prandelli is sweating over the fitness of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Giorgio-Chiellini-c14963 and De Rossi ahead of the match in Krakow, with kick off starting at 19.45 (GMT).
