Can anyone tell me about the place?

I'm moving there soon, and I'm 16.

Google "DeSoto, Texas" and you'll get a lot of info.  DeSoto is practically a part of Dallas, so you need never be bored!

Its a pretty nice bedroom community south of Dallas, but very close. Crime is a concern, but not a problem. Lots of nice people.

I lived there for twenty years and thank God i got out when i did in 2002 very high crime now, alot of the business are shutting down in that area. poor performing schools, Unless you are getting a free house i would not move there

The area you are moving to isnt too bad.  But get a few miles closer to Dallas, and there are problems.
