Deactivate a glowstick?

well my little brother's glowstick died out last night, and i was wondering if i could do anything to make its glow come back?

Put it in the freezer- all the compounds get frozen and when you take it out again, presto!

Freezing it makes it last longer while it's still glowing.  But, once it has stopped, it's done.
