I wanted to deactivate my Facebook account because I don't use it much. If I deactivate my account and later reactivate it, will I have to re-add my friends and applications or would those already be on there?

  1. Nop, you don't have to re-add anything.

  2. As per facebook Support:

How do I deactivate my account?

....Deactivation will completely remove your profile and all associated content on your account from Facebook. In addition, users will not be able to search for you or view any of your information. If you reactivate your account, your profile will be restored in its entirety (friends, photos, interests, etc.).

  3. You have the option of keeping all of your information intact.  You can reactivate your account by logging in using the same email address and password that you now use.

  4. There is no need for re-adding friends. All deactivating does is shuts your account down temporarily to your wishing. You can open it back up whenever you like and everything will be exactly as it was before.
