Dead MP3 Player?

Question

I purchased this PD-6030 for my daughter for Christmas last year and it has suddenly stopped working. When accessing this player in My Computer it shows 0 bytes used 0 bytes free. When I choose to Format it tells me to insert a disk and try again. I wish there was a reset button somewhere or it would let me reformat because it worked great when we first got it and suddenly without warning............nothing........it became an expensive piece of decoration. Anyone have any solutions or advice?
