Dead Watch - Citizen Eco-Drive Skyhawk Titanium

Watch was left with no access to light! Instructions indicate the watch will "recharge" if left under light source for some number of hours. The indication that the watch is 'recharged" will be dark in the panes on either side of the set time cal dial [positions 11, 12 and 1 respectively.
Any clues to get this recharging with ability to set and begin use?
