  1. there is a lot of hollow space in our body.....when we are alive those parts are mostly filled with gas(nitrogen probably)..when we die, all the gas moves out of the body and our weight reduces...thus we float..hope u got it!!

  2. Basically, when you are alive, you float, because you have air in your lungs. If you drown, your lungs fill with water and you sink. After a few days, bacteria in the body start to produce gas from decomposition, so the body floats again.

There are other factors - if you have a lot of body fat then you may float even if your lungs are full of water. On the other hand if you go below about 60 feet deep, the water pressure is so great that it compresses the air in your lungs, and you will sink.

  3. yes i know this and have saw it in tv's specially cid.

  4. it all depends upon the bayoyant force.

when a live person is fell in water,he moves his hand and feet

so h remain in bw the surface and   bed.as he died the bayoyant force becomes greater than the water displaced by

    the bodu so he floats

  5. EVEN LIVE BODIES FLOAT IN SALT WATER THERE IS

    MORE BUOYANCY IN SALT WATER

  6. it's because when the body decomposes gas is released in the body which makes it float.
