Dead grandmother appeared in my dream with a message?

Question

She said that I would lose someone in my family soon. The next night I dreamed my mother (still living) was making a christmas ornament out of a a dried piece of watermelon hanging from the end of a string and said that this would be the last time we would all spend christmas together.

I don´t really believe that this is a sign that someone in my family will die, but wonder what other meanings this could be. I can´t seem to put it together. I live in another country from them and don´t worry too much about them or feel homesick. I have started a new job recently and am very happy with the move. Maybe I ate some bad cheese before bed? lol

Just weird because I never had such morbid dreams of my family back to back before, any ideas of what these types of themes could represent?

Sounds like you were just expressing a repressed fear through your dreams.  I don'tknow about you, but if I were in your situation...I would worry about something happening while I was gone.....not being able to be there to help if something happend and whatnot!  I really wouldn't worry about it.  Usually when a loved one who has passed brings you a message, it's in the form of a comfort, like showing you that you will overcome this obstacle.  I've never heard of a passed loved one coming through to scare you or make you worry. Hope this all helps

What you saw was something of the future most-likely

Dreams are actually the other side of the world we live in, but they can intersect worlds, the branches of choices we make or the future for that matter

Branches of Choice Worlds are worlds that split on a particular decision. Say you were going out with this person and you had the decision of saying yes or no, whatever decision you made stays with you and the other decision branches off and becomes another world

Christmas is the time of when family gets together, maybe you are supposed to spend the best moments with her, since you know, it could be either you or her that dies in the end, a story is about to end. Did you see any other signs, maybe new snow, deep snow, rain? weather can also interpret what you see and foresee.

Just live everyday like you are going to die tomorrow. You don't want to make a mistake you'll regret, you may infact lose someone you love, before you could apologize.

grandmother usually represents something from the past.

remember that dreams are representational and that most dreams we have are about ourselves.

could be issues from the past you haven't dealt with, or it could just be that you miss your family more than you realize.
