I just opened my prawn crackers I got from the take away had a few from the bag and then noticed that a moth had been cooked along with them. What I want to know is should i take them back to the take away and demand a refund or call environmental health with the details or both.

  1. It's a moth - not a cockroach, or a rat.  A lone airborne creature which happened to land in a very unfortunate place, not an indicator of poor hygeine.

Just take the things back. You'll probably get a free dinner.

  2. Have you tried deep fried moth? Very tasty

  3. take it back to them and let them know. They shall keep watch. It could be a one off. It could ruin their whole business. Just warn them of whats happened. I'm sure they will start being more careful. It being Summer, you see flies, wasps, moths quite a lot.

  4. EEEW! But lol! I would call environmental health!

  5. call environmental health with the details better to be safe than sorry

  6. if it's been deep fried it's not gonna hurt you,get on with it

  7. Ewwwwwwwwwww!!!

    Do both....thats totally disgusting :(

    I would have been sick!!!

    Hope ur feeling ok...x

  8. Take it back, but be warned you didn't pay for it!!
