  2. deaf in one ear. then i can listen to music in one ear and then i would be able to see nature and myself!

  3. Deaf

  4. deaf...if i had eyes i can learn by watching the nature... ...but it is very difficult if some body is blind

  5. Deaf, because i would like to see where I am going.

  6. i would rather be deaf than blind so i could see my daughter grow up and i will learn to lip read i guess..

  7. Neither!

  8. Neither one! Just being of low vision (which I am) is a definate hardship. Be thankful if  you have all of your senses intact.

  9. Seriously if I was given a choice it would have to be deaf.

I have enough problems seeing things now, without corrective glasses and I want to hold on to what eye sight I have, plus I don't want to miss out on seeing my daughters & husbands face, the sun set etc.

  10. deaf, if you were blind you wouldnt be able to see to beuty of the world

  11. hmm, i think i would rather be deaf because

if i was blind, i wouldnt be able to see my future children grow.

  12. blind because I can't live without music

  13. deaf coz my roommate is blind....  ;-)

  14. Helen Keller was both deaf and blind..she said that her deafness was far worse than her deafness because it cut her off from people--talking, communicating, making friends easily, music--etc.  I believe she is correct because I have a child who was deaf from birth as well..it is very difficult when you are limited to who you are able to communicate with--and until a deaf child learns communication methods they don't even have words to THINK the questions they would like to ask..so many deaf children don't even have WORDS until they get into a school that teaches them--unless they are fortunate enough to have parents that find a way to teach them--and it is slower than teaching a hearing child. (deaf parents of deaf babies usually have no problem, since it is very natural to them...hearing people with deaf babies have to figure things out)  The hearing world is not very accepting of deaf people--or of anyone or anything that is different from the "norm".  Often deaf people will seem slow to learn or behind because they don't have nearly as much language (they didn't start learning language until they were older--hearing kids started as infants) Hearing kids hear everything and everybody...deaf kids only have selected people who communicate and limited social contacts.  Deafness can result in tremendous isolation and suffering because of that--and humans are social creatures by nature. While blindness would be very difficult and one would miss out on so many visual opportunities...at least you would be able to talk to friends and use language effectively.

  15. Blind....I couldn't live without hearing my music.

  16. blind. cause i rather hear the world. since im half way there i got half more to go LMAO

  17. I would want to be deaf. Don't mind not being able to hear people, but I definitely want to see them!!!!
