Dealing with an ex's debt?

Me and my ex were planning on getting married but then for alot of reasons it didnt work out. During our relationship we got him a car and purchased a home and it all had to be in my name since his credit was so bad and when it didnt work out he just walked away and left me to take care of everything. I tried to sell the car but it got stollen(just my luck) and it was upside down so im stuck with the difference. I tried to sell the house and couldnt so I rented it out to family and they never paid on time and then stopped paying all together and I couldnt keep up so it was forclosed on. My credit was so good but now its ruined. How do I build my credit back up around all this stuff w/o waiting 7 years? Im working on a way to pay off the smaller debts but I know a forclosure is a big hit.

  1. Hi,

I used "Credit Solution" to settle my debt and avoid bankruptcy. They managed to reduce my debt up to 58%.I came across this company on NBC News Special Edition.Check it out here:

  2. I'd talk to a lawyer and ask for advice.  Many will give free advice, helping is another matter.  I'd call around to see what you can get.

  3. You are so lucky. You can claim bankruptcy. I know of a girl, that did like you did, and she is stuck with a defaulted student loan for Law School.

Sounds like you have tried everything but bankruptcy.
