Dealing with mp3 files...?

Question

i use itunes to buy and download songs to my ipod and i'm not sure how what kind of files those are (like mp3 or wma), but i really need to save some songs as mp3 files and i'm not sure how...i know once a song is imported into my itunes library i can right-click on it and convert it to the aac format...?

does anyone who uses itunes know how to save a song as a mp3 file?

They're saved as m4a files. If you want to convert it, use an online converter. I think this one works: http://www.mediaconverter.org/

it should already be saved. if you can find it, go to your iTunes library folder, and it should be in there.... you can copy & paste it to where ever you need to.

As I know iTunes purchased M4P files have DRM protection which prevent users from playing iTunes media with other incompatible players such as PSP, Zune, Creative Zen, etc.

music files from itunes are drm-laden. in order to play them on mp3 players other than ipod and iphone, you need a special program to help strip off the protection and convert the itunes m4p, m4b, m4a music to mp3. i always use tuneclone. my friend introduced it to me. it automatically generates a virtual cd burner, with which the music files can be converted at very high speed.
