Dealing with protective family

Question

Every girlfriend I have ever had complained about my mom being overprotective. I think a part of the reasons these girl broke up with me is because of my "over protective mom"

I will give you an example I am 20 and my mom wont let me get a job because I am in college. Said I would not have enough time to deal with a job.

So do you think my mom is over protective?

I am asking this question and I want to get back on the dating scene. But I believe if I dont solve this. I wont have successful relationship with a girlfriend.

After your 18 she cant tell you what to do,do what you want man live your life how you want you only get one life after all

Your 20? You can do what you want.

I think you need to move in your own apartment and take a break from her, you NEED to move on with your life instead of being trapped in her house..(with her rules, i suppose)

You are OLD ENOUGH to make your own decisions, you need to tell her that, if she doesn't understand I would suggest taking a break from her to show her you can be fine on your own.

put mom in her place.  you can love her but set boundaries.  it won't stop if you keep letting here interfere
