After Cricket http://www.senore.com/Cricket/RT-Ponting-c2377 from the one-day squad, Dean Jones, a former Australian cricketer, has asked the Indian selectors to follow the footsteps of their Australian
counterparts by showing the door to iconic batsman http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SR-Tendulkar-c2556 from the one-day squad.
The 50-year-old former top order batsman from Victoria doubts that the Indian selectors’ have the courage to take such a daring step and added that the master blaster will keep playing as long as he liked.
"India, on the other hand, has no selector with the courage to tell Tendulkar his one-day career is over, no matter how badly he might be playing,” Dean Jones was quoted in an article by a leading Australian daily.
“People are worried their homes could be damaged if they are seen to have removed Tendulkar against his will. He will keep playing for as long as he likes, and thus, lies the problem for India," he added further.
Ricky Ponting, one of the most successful One Day captains the sport has ever seen since its inception, was dropped earlier this week from Australia’s squad for the tri-series matches against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750. After the snub, the Tasmanian had said that
his ODI career might be over, a statement that has not been denied by a single Australia team management member or the selection panel.

The iconic India batsman, Sachin Tendulkar holds the record of being the highest run scorer in both ODI and Test cricket, is undergoing a slump in ODIs. He has not scored a hundred since March last year. It’s been almost one year that the master blaster
is stuck on 99 international tons.
The little batting maestro is awaiting his elusive ton to bid farewell to international cricket but almost 12 months after his last international century, Sachin is still standing inches away from reaching the milestone. After waiting for a whole, former
cricketers and pundits are fed up and are calling for his head, in order to see the team prosper.
